The early reporting of adverse patient outcomes has become a key ingredient in HPIX’s ability to prevent and minimize claims. HPIX is committed to making this process as painless as possible. We have a nationwide toll-free number which our members can call to report adverse patient outcomes and or potential claims. Once doing so, our members can be assured that their report will be handled confidentially by our experienced claims team. If need be, we can refer matters to our risk management team who can provide a more detailed assessment and advice regarding practice risks. We encourage this behavior and react to it positively.
